Ms. Matthews
Ms. Matthews was raised in Cary, North Carolina but has lived in Pitt County since college graduation. She earned her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Math from Appalachian State University and her master's degree in Middle Grades Math and Science from East Carolina University. She has taught for 30 years at Ayden Middle School and feels blessed to be a part of this wonderful community.
In her spare time, Ms. Matthews enjoys photography, traveling, scrapbooking and going to ball games.
